valentines day?

Everyone kind of celebrates Valentine’s Day. They say it’s the day of “love” or something. For me, that day is the same as any other day. For me, it’s Single Awareness Day. (SAD). On that day, everyone who is single is completely aware that they are single because of all the PDA on Valentine’s Day… I mean, is it really such a special day? Who in the world said, “Hmm… February 14^th is going to be the day where all the single people are going to be singled out! What I really mean is, if you really love someone, shouldn’t everyday be Valentine’s Day? Why does it have to be this day? Kbai.

Happy Chinese Newyear!!! It's the year of the snake, hope you guys have a great day for the beginning of this chinese newyear.

so basically for the newyears  what i did was watch some asian CCTV and saw the random performances. it was really because i saw an old lady stick her hand up a puppet's butt and act like a ventriloquist. also there were a bunch of futuristic holograms...

seat changes

do you guys like seat changes?
i'm always really excited about them because i get a little tired of my seat partners, but it really sucks when you have those teachers that always pair you up with complete strangers, idiots, creepy people, or a whole combination of them all.
i don't know how there are always those kids that are lucky every time and get to sit with their best friends or cool person.
we are going to have a seat change in chinese sometime this week and i hope that i get some nice people...
i guess i would be okay with anyone in that class because we all have bonded by enduring the craziness of that teacher.

Strange allergies

at lunch today, we got into a discussion on allergies; people were talking about chocolate, cheese, and all those other things.
my allergy is that i am allergic to hypoallergenic lotions...this cause some people (ahem sena and kevin) to laugh. but i swear this is true! once i tried this so called "hypoallergenic" lotion and my skin turned red.

this made me think of other strange allergies:
here's a thought for today:
what would happen if a person was allergic to water?
 i feel like this would mean they were/are aliens who have come to eat us alive!

i actually did some research (:
and i found that there are some people who are allergic to cold air and water. does this mean they can never go swimming or have a glass of ice?
this guy in the picture is too dramatic: going in the water with clothes on?

there are also people who are allergic to shoes, or at least leather shoes. i find this kind of sad, not being able to wear a certain type of shoe):

MORE YOUTUBE MUSIC.

hi guys! long time no post from me. im still trying to come up with some new original material, so hopefully there will be more posts coming soon. my new year's hopes for the blog is to hit at least 1000 views by our 1 year anniversary of this blog, and for more posts (diys possibly?) and hopefully a blogging schedule. but until then, you'll have to put up with my mediocre posts for now. 

so for christmas i got a ukulele! which i really wanted and i was insanely happy when i recieved one. i found it was really easy to learn (i basically learned it in a day.) and so once i got the hang of some basic chords i started to go find songs to play. and so i watched a ton of different covers of ukulele people on youtube and found some new musicians i like. 

so this kid named JD (jdviolinboy) is pretty much the most insanely talented and adorable 9 year old on youtube. i found him when i was learning ho hey by the lumineers (heres his cover.), and then i started to look at his other videos and wow. this kid is awesome. he plays violin, ukulele, piano, and can sing, rap, and beatbox. and harmonize and use loops. not to mention he has great music taste for a 9 year old. (his favorite band is IMAGINE DRAGONS. :) and he has even sang with them! ) i hope he goes really far in music and keeps making videos.

another person that is probably now by favorite british youtube singer is Dodie Clark or doddleoddle.  she is just an amazing beautiful person with a beautiful voice, not to mention a super cute little sister who she sometimes sings with. she also plays ukulele of course. her covers and original songs are all so amazing and her song a permanent hug from you is just cuteness overload in the lyrics (im learning it right now.) so go check her out too because she's so sweet.

How to be Socially Awkward

here is a guide to one of the most never asked question: how do you be socially awkward?

step 1:
EYE CONTACT,  be creepy and use some aggressive eye contact. whenever talking to someone, stare them down! Remember, try not to blink and just keep staring. If that is not what you want to do, never look people in the eye, just stare at the ground and avert your eyes at all costs. basically you just have to try to communicate while staring at the ground, making weird faces at the same time will also add to the awkwardness. IF you are up for the biggest challenge, do both: stare at them for a while, then begin looking at the ground and at the same time remember to smile really hard, so hard that you will look like a crazy clown.

step 2:
CLOTHES, make sure you wear long pants that are too short and show your socks when you sit down. Also fold them at different lengths that are not extremely noticeable that it looks intentional, but to the point where others think you were trying to fold your cuffs evenly, but failed in doing so. To take it up to another level, grease up your hair into a style i like to call "the eugene" a diagram of that is down below:
 Girls on the other hand, pull your hair out with your hands, twist it and then start madly spraying with hairspray until you get the above look.

step 3:
PRIVACY, who needs personal privacy? absolutely no one! invade people's personal space as often as possible: poke people with your pencils and juice boxes! also, never stand less than 2 inches away from someone. also whisper in their ear questions like:" how's my smell?" this will give you the extreme awkwardness you have been dreaming about your whole life!

step 4:
RANDOM, in the middle of a conversation say something totally out of the blue and say something like " i can fly!" and start bobbing your head like a chicken. remember, this does not work with close friends, only do this to complete strangers so that the awkwardness is complete.

step 5:
INTERRUPT, in a conversation, instantaneously start coughing every moment you have. clear your voice as if you have something to say, but don't say a thing at all. if you do want to talk, remember to never let anyone finish their sentence. id you do not want to be too over the top, just start mumbling something and when they ask you what you just said, say it doesn't really matter anymore...

step 6:
LOOK UNCOMFORTABLE, always look uncomfortable like you are about to barf or sneeze so that people are always horridly anticipating what you might soon do.

trust me, if you follow this guide, you will become the most socially awkward person society has ever known.
