back to school.

admit it. if you're in middle school right now, you've probably started freaking out because you just realized that summer is basically half over. now you have to cram in everything summery and do all your summer reading and all that stuff in only one month. i know the feeling.

but there is hope! three words: school supply shopping. no longer are school supplies limited to no.2 yellow pencils, white binders, and pink pearl erasers. But instead you walk into the school supply department and see a swarm of colorful folders decorated with pics of JB, puppies, and glee (none of which i really enjoy. except puppies.), glitter EVERYTHING in every shape, size, and colour, and all sorts of bright pens and mechanical pencils. it makes you feel insanely fun and you get a rush to start school so you can show off your new collection. 

so i thought i'd share some of my ALL TIME favorite awesome school stuff.

BENDY RULER.

oh the joy of bendy rulers. not that i don't already love math but these rulers are just so great. they make algebra even better, i sware. with a bendy ruler you can take over the world. drawing lines? CHECK. need to measure? CHECK. look cool? CHECK. drawing triangles? CHECK. smack someone? CHECK. 

GEL PENS.

angela and i love gel pens (especially gelly rolls!). you can doodle, write notes, correct things, and just do whatever the heck you want with them. and they come in every freaking color and type. NEON! SPARKLY! METALLIC! lots of rainbow-y action. 

FOOD ERASERS. 

 

In 4th and 5th grade I had an insane obsession with Iwako food erasers and honestly i don't you can stop being obsessed with these. Guarantee if you name a random food they probably have a tiny eraser version of it. They are just too perfect for words. i mean just look at those macaroons! never has an inanimate object been so amazing.  i never actually use them though. 

Pencil Pouches. 

for some reason i just love pencil pouches. they have fuzzy ones, patterned ones, domo shaped ones: the possibilities are endless. not just a boring black binder bouch but now you can strut around the halls with a cat shaped pouch. ENOUGH SAID.
