YOLO?

so once again i will be talking about an important (read: STUPID.) issue. the overuse of the term YOLO. YO....no. just NO. for those of you who don't know what YOLO is... it means You Only Live Once. it doesn't even make sense, i mean isn't it kind of obvious that you would only live once? or only die once? YODO? well i guess it doesn't apply to cats with nine lives and all.... or immortal vampire/werewolf/paranormal romance characters. but still, i think everyone knows that you only live one time. yolo users need to move on with their life. 

apparently it originated from some drake song i don't know... i heard it in art class last year.but i  don't think that's true because if nobody has noticed the strokes have a song called You Only Live Once  way before some rap. but i guess no one cares. anyways, back to the point. so people started using #yolo as a hashtag, using it at the end of just plain ridiculous things. people either use it as a lame excuse to do stupid things like extreme partying or jumping off a cliff and breaking every bone in your body. or they just tack it onto the end of some sentence just to act "cool". for example "just went down a slide at a playground" #YOLO or "stuffing my face with cake" #YOLO "just saw a tree!"#YOLO . it's so ridiculous. the most insane thing is that it is just used in everyday conversations at times that does not even make sense at all. i mean.. sure cool you're only going to live once so your going to eat cake? really? that could be considered a problem, people need to set higher goals for themselves. YOLO is not an excuse for anything! i mean with all the stupid things people do for YOLO, that time when you're living once is going to be very short because you are going to probably die. 

i don't even know why people are so obsessed with YOLO. i actually thought before knew what it meant, that it was something really exciting but you only live once? did people honestly think we can live twice or something? you obviously lack originality. (that's also yolo.) 

sorry for being so negative in this post, but it had to be done... because..yolo? just kidding. READERS never use this pathetic abbreviation ever for the rest of your life. ever again. got it? good.  HAKUNA MATATA
