today i went to the mall and coincidentally saw some people i knew. One of those was sena (; and some other kid named ryan.(ryan if you ever read thiss...sorry for calling you some other kid, but um ...yeah) Anyways, nowadays, whenever you go to the mall, you ALWAYS see someone you know from school or wherever. it's like the mall is a magical fairyland where you will always meet people aand see your friends :)

okay, by now you are probably wondering: "what in the flapjacks does the mall have to do with projects!?"

the mall was just some place where we were going to shoot some footage.

dance like no one's watching

okay, today i'm going to share with you some videos that i've been wanting to post for a while! so i really love flashmobs and insane dancing. so i definitely love videos of people who can just break out their amazing dance skills in the middle of nowhere. and i especially love that they don't care what people think of them!

the first two are of actress/comedian Angela Trimbur who is awesome and hilarious and is on thesegirls (i will blog about that soon! very soon).

i should really be doing my homework right bow, but for some reason i cannot just stop blogging.

THE INTERNET IS VERY DISTRACTING!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can't type a single essay or do any homework until i have thoroughly checked my facebook ( stare at a screen for hours), checked my email( more staring at a screen), and search random things on google. 

Seriously, there are a bunch of weird things on the web that can make you procrastinate for an infinite amount of time.
one of those extremely eyecatching, distracing things are funny gifs!
in the end, i keep watching these little moving pictures a dozen times before i am finally satisfied

interesting thing to ponder about of the day:
if pro means good and con means bad, then procrastinating is good and concentrating is bad?

the voice.

 so i will let you know i don't exactly like reality tv shows or competitions.  but i do make an exception for the voice, the sing off (when it was still alive.) and maybe some cooking show or something. anyways i haven't watched any episodes of the season 3 blind auditions yet at all, because i'm busy, and i have no idea what's going on except i did watch one clip of melanie martinez (who did the best "toxic" rendition ever. she's the next dia framps or lindsey pavao for sure.) . but i read a recap on the voice, and was super surprised to read off some names i recognized. 

1. Jordan Pruitt
oh my. disney fans you out there?! anyone remember the read it and weep days? or jump in with keke palmer and corbin bleu? so if you remember that, do you remember the singer jordan pruitt? she used to be my all-time favorite singer like ever in 3rd and 4th grade. i remember memorizing all the lyrics to my shoes or jump to the rhythm, and listening to the permission to fly album a billion times. im not really sure why i liked her so much, but i really liked her until i forgot about her. so back to the voice. i find out now that not only is she alive and still singing but is on The Voice on team xtina. what?

2.Cassadee Pope. 

In like 5th grade, I learned about Hey Monday and was listening to their album nonstop. i tried to tell people about it but they just thought it was weird. Well LOOK AT HER NOW! apparently she's on the voice too. and 4 judges turned. and in 7th grade she was even in a video we watched in health! but still even then no one knew about her. i don't like her as much anymore. but still. you get my point.

3. Leila Broussard

i've been a big fan of leila broussard, for a couple years now. i think that she is the most amazing singer and songwriter and the entire masquerade album is so good. and i used to be seriously obsessed with the song satellite. anyways as you can tell from this whole post, she's on the voice too. which im sad because i can't say i'm the only person who knows (not that i am or anything), but im happy that she can gain new fans in the voice process.

anyways looks like im going to have to watch the voice because it looks extremely interesting all of a sudden. i still can't get over the whole jordan pruitt thing. man, i was such a big fan... back in the day like 200 years ago.

you should learn everything about life from jim henson

So today is a extremely good day. If you don't know what it is, It's Jim Henson's birthday. If he was still with us today, he would have turned 76 years old. Honestly who doesn't think Jim Henson is amazing? And I'm actually surprised at the amount of people who don't get why he is such a genius. Some people don't even know who he is! It's sad. He created so many amazing shows and characters. Like for example, here's a fun fact: I bet you didn't know that he helped to create Yoda. From Star Wars. Seriously. But more importantly, he is the creator of the Muppets, Fraggle Rock, some of Sesame Street and a lot of other great movies and shows. He made everything magical that he created, and inspired everyone from grown-ups to toddlers, and everything under,above and in between.

Here are somethings you can learn from him.
1. You are unique and special.
Ever notice how the muppets never talked and sang about how everyone didn't have a talent, or how everyone is good at everything? But instead they should focus on following your dream and being who you are. Like Rowlf the Dog. He's all " I can't tell any jokes, but I'm a insane piano player." Who need all that other stuff in life? Focus on what you know you love.

2. Keep Believing
This one is important.  Someday we’ll find it: the Rainbow Connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me. 
When you wish upon a star, or 11:11 on a clock, or a lucky penny you found, do you actually believe in it? I realize now that indeed I have not found my "rainbow connection" but one day i will. I especially believe it when jason mraz or weezer and hayley williams sings it.

3. It's Ok to be Weird, You're still important.
Remember Muppets in Space? And how Gonzo always thought that he was classified as a "whatever" and a "weird"? And how he had  his own alien species? Well at the end he was proud of his weirdness, and that teaches everyone that they should too. Weird is good. No one is normal, because normal is not normal. Normal is weird. Even the "normal" people have to be weird in some way, making the whole world weird. So cherish your inner "weirdo" and rock out with Gonzo. Here's a quote from the Muppets in Space movie in the beginning that i actually don't like.

  Gonzo:   Well, it's just that I'm sick and tired of being a one-of-a-kind freak, that's all.  

 Kermit:  Gonzo, you are not a one-of-a-kind freak. You're a, uh... uh...

 Kermit: Well.....yeah.

Remember. Don't listen to Kermit on this one. You are not a whatever. Just appreciate being a one of a kind
freak. And people will love you for being you.

4. Worries for another day, Dance your cares away.
The Fraggle Rock theme song is just plain inspiring. Listen to them, and follow them carefully.

Anyways, never watch his funeral video ever. It will make you cry. Even Big Bird will make you cry. I recommend that you don't. But to my point. Jim Henson did everything with passion, creativity, and his just all-around amazing powers. Although I wish he was alive so that he could share more of his dreams with the world, he left an impact on everyone with his creations. rest in peace & happy birthday.

goats are the new cats.

so a while back, i did a post on how koalas are the new cats, and should be the next internet craze. well i was looking at the news again, and i saw these videos of GOATS. they were both cute and funny, and still better than your average cat video. 

the first one is of a pig saving a goat. so i guess pigs are involved too. 

this one is of a goat jumping on other goats. her name is buttercup. 

anyways, i don't know about you but i think these videos are much better than those cats who are lazy and sit there, and still manage to get a billion views. but goats, pigs, and koalas are definitely the next big thing. even hunger games caught onto that (prim's goat, anyone?) and now i really want a pet goat, pig, and koala! if it was normal...........
i feel that there are so many better animals that should be the new cats. but cats seem to be what you people like to see. when either angela or i blog about cats we get a increase in views.

why must you test me glue?!

i was just finishing my SS project and had a little mishap with some hot glue. HOT GLUE GUNS ARE EVIL!!! they will kill your fingers!
anyways, i thouhght about glue and how there are just sooooooooooo many kinds with different names.
For example, super glue:
sure its fast to dry and very sticky, but i think that if i were to have super glue, it should have a cape and fly around saving damsels in distress like super man:)

other than super glue, there are also glue sticks, krazy glue, rubber cement, Elmer"s glue, etc.
one thing about Elmer"s glue:    who is Elmer?  i was so curious that i even searched it up.
turns out, ,the cow thingy is Elmer the bull. am i the only one who doesn't already know this?
did you know that Elmer the bull is Elsie the cow's husband? (Elsie was a mascot for a dairy brand)

oh yeah and i remember this song from kindergarten about elmer's glue now... it goes something like this: (in the barney "i love you"song tune)

socks.

okay,  so today i'm gonna be talking about a very serious subject. SOCKS. specifically, middle school age- guy's socks. you know that statement that people make, "oh guys don't care about their appearance, or how what they wear." well that is SO not true. and it's all proven true by the socks. 

 so it all started, one day (FLASHBACK! cue wayne's world sound effect! anyone get that? no? ok..) when i was walking behind a group of guys and i noticed they all were wearing black Nike socks with white stripes (band alert.) things on the back. then i started to look around at other guys' socks (yeah i'm NOT creepy okay....) and noticed that like every single guy was wearing black or other colors (not white) on  Nike socks. so basically they do care about how they look, because otherwise why would they all be adding on to this trend? and considering they are all wearing Nike, they also care about brands. my friend and i were watching this big group of guys    
on the basketball court, playing a game...without a basketball. so as they were playing their game of invisible basketball, which is already sad as it is, but they were jumping up to try (but failing, keep in mind a lot of these people are really tall.) and touch the hoop. at first i just thought that was just stupid. but i thought about it, and my theory about this was that they were jumping up to show off their socks. since your socks are on your feet ,people can't see them right? jump up, and they're much more easy for others to see. so turning the basketball court into a little runway for your feet. 

my younger brother recently bought a pair of these plain black nike socks before school, so i had to ask him about the trend, since he's a new middle school guy. i asked him about the black socks with white things on the back and he said: "oh yeah, those are so cool, and they're really stretchy and can be pulled like way past your knee. they are like man leggings. you could call them meggings." direct quote. 

anyways, i guess cause i'm a girl, i don't know what is with the mysterious club of socks. but i think there should really be a ban on wearing shorts with socks hiked up to your thighs. honestly? not cool.

wreck this journal.

oh my gosh, today i just got a WRECK THIS JOURNAL! i am so incredibly happy that i got one and i'm so excited to use it. basically if you don't know what it is, it is a super amazing interactive journal where you follow the instructions for complete destruction of the book. you probably are thinking... "waitt.....DESTROY?!" well, as the book says "TO create is TO destroy." the book is to inspire you to think outside the box, stop being a perfectionist, and let your imagination explode like a volcano. this book is by keri smith, who is the author of several other mind-blowing books like mess or finish this book. but anyways i'm SO excited to use it (have i mentioned that? sorry i can't think.)  and wreck it up, but for now i will stare at its still perfect condition. 

i also got a cute pouch to put it in.

converse shoes are pumped up kicks

so i was reading something and it had a link to the converse  music blog. so i checked it out mostly because i love converse shoes a lot, but when i went there i was seriously impressed by the music on their blog! if you like the same music as i do then you will be obsessed with a lot of the stuff they have on there. they have this thing called "3 artists, 1 song" where they feature 3 different artists collaborating on 1 original song. so anyways i was flipping around the stuff they had on here, and i discovered something seriously awesome sauce. there was one of these "3 artists 1 song" collabs with Kid Cudi (omg), Best Coast (OMG), and Rostam from Vampire Weekend (OMG). The song is called "All Summer" and you can download it for free (i downloaded the moment i heard it).  it's pretty sad that i found this song when summer is OVER! but there is some abnormally warm weather still where we live, so i'm going to keep listening to the song until it gets cold. but it's definitely going to be one of my summer songs next summer!

you know everywhere you go, there are things about cats now.
youtube is full of cat videos, and when you search cat on google. i am sure a bunch of crazy photos will pop up. I find many of these cute, but in real life, when i see a cat, i get seriously freaked out. I don't hate cats, but i would rather look at them from a distance. My most favorite video about cats doesn't really even have a cat in it, but it is a song that you MUST listen to at least one time in your life.

ok so i have another video to share with you, that is nothing short of sheer genius. basically you guys have to watch it. the whole thing. i beg you.

it has so many elements of awesomeness, so let me name them. BEN FOLDS FIVE (reunited!), MUPPETS (or fraggle rock i guess. Jim Henson genius in other words.) , ANNA KENDRICK (hilarious awesome actress, check her out!), and just the fact that this video was made is amazing on so many levels. and the song is dangerously catchy.. do it anywayy...and i've also been singing the muppet and fraggle rock theme for the whole night.... so if you have not gotten it yet then i will make a statement. just wanted to share this with you guys!!! so i was casually looking at things online like i do and i came upon this:

now i love oreo cookies so much, but with this unknown recent creation of CANDY CORN oreos, i realize that i am not exactly adventurous with my oreo cookie tasting... i now have started to think of all the wonderous, amazing, crazy flavors and kinds there must be of oreo cookies that i have never even heard of. I mean ive only tried mint and vanilla. so i've been inspired basically.

a couple days ago, it was raining a bit. after school, me and my sister were walking home int the rain when there was suddenly an awkward silence. so, we started singing Singing in the Rain. It is kind of weird because at home, we usually don't talk, but instead SING: tralalalallalalal! So anyways, basically what we were doing was singing singing in the rain in the rain.   <----i did not make any mistake typing the same word twice there(:

okay so sena is telling me to post about some video we saw today in chinese...
my thoughts on this is: he looks like a funny fish in the beginning, and why is he wearing those light up glasses?Oh yeah, and in 2:28, this guy seems to be holding a blow up asian doll? or maybe a jelly holder? If, there weren't any lyrics, this would be a strange video filled with random things that this guy is doing. Although I do like his glasses.And in 2:42 he is doing the bicycle?

koalas are the new cats

So i was looking at the news one day and i spotted this video (below) of a koala who actually swam (NOTE: koalas don't like swimming.) to a a group of canoes and caught a ride in one of them.  First of all, it was just plain flat- out cute. But second of all it got me thinking about how koalas would make very good videos. You know how people on youtube have some sort of an obsession with cat videos?? Well what if koalas had videos like cats do? it would be a thousand times better if not more adorable. This would give non-cat lovers (me.) a chance for something to watch when im bored. or sad. or lack cuteness. i don't know. the only problem is that koalas are wild. darn. but think about it though... KEEP IT IN YOUR MIND.

im a failure :'(

This post is going to be very negative so I advise you to not read about my terribleness :(

Okay so it hasn't even been a full week of school yet and i have already lost a very important item and im upset. Curse my  failure!

i went to the library and then left my flashdrive there and have been panicking ever since. Also its been a couple of days now and i am DYING! Oh yeah, and i forgot to mention that i am deadly afraid of talking to people especiallly strangers and only talk when i have to, but i really hate it. Now i have to go to the library and ask the librarian for my lost items. It's not that i hate people or librarians, its just that i am an awkward person and i know it will end up with an awkward conversation and the librarian thinking I am an irresponsible person who loses everything(which is kinda true...)

oh yeah and another reason why i feel like failure of a person is because i have no idea what is going in this world. Someone asked me who the vice president is and i had no idea. The same person asked me who Obama is running against and i realized i had no clue that the election thingamabob was going on right now. I realize that i should really start watching the news or something. Maybe find a person who knows everything and start hanging around them to know what is going on in this place around me.

Last, but not least, top reason why I am a failure is that i have not been keeping up to date posts. We are thinking of recruiting third member for this blog to posts more frequent up dates so no worries. Just wait for a post recruiting ***** ********!
Anyways, this rant made me a lot less up set so seeya now !

poor sena has been deprived of her laptop and i can only imagine her pain. These days, I don't think that anyone could survive without the internet. To me, it feels really weird and surprising when I have those teachers that always say , "BACK IN MY DAY...there was no ..."
no internet
no computers
no microsoft
no cellphones

It feels like they had nothing, its hard to even imagine what they would do for fun.
hehe i am waiting for the day a stranger comes up to me and looks like one of these guys :)

okay , so for a while, i haven't posted any lengthy posts and that's just because i have no idea what to write about... everynow and then, I'm sure we all get writer's block. which for me right now really sucks, because i can't entertain you guys that much, or tell you about all the strange random and peculiar things in this world. anyways, if you have any ideas, comment on the last post and sena-who is like an organizing genius-will make it happen.
